When you decide to work with LMI, you’re joining an amazing group of people with a common goal: Realize your potential. While we understand that a great program can help with that, we also understand that you also need amazing people helping to deliver and help you along your journey. Every once in a while we add a new member to our team and we’d love for you to get to know our newest team mate!
Brand new to the LMI team, Terri-Ann is VERY excited to help people find the self-awareness to understand that ALL you want in life is on the other side of taking personal responsibility for how you show up in it. The ability to self-lead, create the mental fortitude, and be hyper-vigilant with your time can be the catalyst or the crutch that makes or break your success, and Terri-Ann hopes that by joining the LMI team, she can help others find those skills.
Terri-Ann’s inspiration comes from her mother, who has been through many obstacles throughout her life and has managed to stay true to herself. This authenticity through adversity has given Terri-Ann the strength she needed to reach her own goals. This is reflected in the care and support that she shows to her own children; when asked about the last time she was scared, Terri-Ann’s response is regarding her own children.
“The memory that comes to mind is when my daughter gave birth to my grandson, Levi. With all things COVID, the rules were that only one person could attend the birth, and naturally, her partner attended the birth of their son. As a mother, not being able to be there by her side was scary, probably the most frightened I had been in an exceptionally long time.”
Otherwise, her fear comes from her 14-year-old son who likes to jump out of closed rooms to scare her.
Terri-Ann has found herself on a mission to motivate, educate, and be the catalyst for more women owning their place at the table. Whether it’s through intrapreneurship within a corporation, or entrepreneurship by owning or co-owning a company. With studies showing that women in leadership positions increase productivity, enhance collaboration, and decrease employee burnouts, Terri-Ann is ready to help women move beyond the fear of failure, imposter syndrome, or losing connection with their family at home by implementing the LMI processes.
Outside of LMI, Terri-Ann’s currently working on the next version of the BE the Balance retreat, now shifting to an online experience in the face of COVID-19. BE the Balance is a one-day women’s retreat designed to help women reflect on where they are today, reclaim their divine feminine power, and rejuvenate their souls.
